Finalists Selected for Improving Communities

Brad Coleman, of Newport Beach’s Metro Estates, was recently recognized as one of 10 finalists for Realtor Magazine’s good neighbor awards. Coleman serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, which matches children facing adversity with an adult mentor. He also chairs the county’s young professionals realtors network, promoting its mentor program. He was instrumental in raising $150,000 last year, which funded 13 mentorship matches. Five winners selected next month will receive a $10,000 grant for their community cause.

Escrow Services Form Partnership

Orange County escrow firms Laguna Escrow Services and Blue Water Escrow recently announced a partnership blending both firms to better serve their clients. Laguna Escrow Services is led by Karen R. Crosbie and will work with Blue Water Escrow’s Monarch Beach branch. Blue Water Escrow, an affiliate of Surterre Properties, also has offices in Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, managed by Jason Miller and Wendy Jones, respectively.

Teles Properties Earns Fast-Growth Ranking

Teles Properties, with offices in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, was named the fastest-growing real estate brokerage in California, according to Inc. magazine’s ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Beverly Hill-based Teles ranked as the nation’s 40th fastest-growing real estate company, according to the magazine. Teles Properties, which has eight offices, posted $1.7 billion in sales last year, and $1.2 billion so far this year, the company said in a statement.
