Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties launched its new brand cutting the ribbon on a yard sign at Newport Coast’s Villa Di Pietra, a $19.8 million listing, last week. The company’s chief executive, David Cabot, regional vice president Scott MacDonald, and listing agent John McMonigle were on hand to cut the ribbon.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices commemorated the occasion with a $3,500 donation to Crystal Cove Alliance, involved in renovating and preserving Crystal Cove State Park’s Historic District.

With more than 3,200 sales associates in 62 California offices, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is one of the top five brokerages in the nation. In 2012, agents of the firm closed nearly $11 billion in sales on more than 14,000 transactions.
