More than 8,000 real estate agents gathered in Anaheim from February 19 – 23 to learn business-accelerating tactics at Keller Williams Realty’s annual convention, Family Reunion, the largest private franchise real estate convention in the U.S.
The event offered a packed schedule of real estate market-focused lineup featuring more than 150 breakout training sessions. Topics included real estate trends such as REOs and short sales, ins and outs of selling commercial and luxury properties, and social media training, as well as the launch of eEdge, the ground-breaking cutting edge new technology offered only through KW that will surely change the way agents do business.
There were also countless networking opportunities which agents took full advantage of, being that Keller Williams is the fastest growing real estate company in the U.S.: The agents found myriad new ways of discussing referral opportunities.
When asked what was it about Keller Williams Realty that makes it different from their competitors, Regional Director Madison Offenhauser stated, “Our agents are continuously empowered to grow personally through our paramount education and cutting-edge technology, which no other real estate franchise offers their associates. Our ‘agent centric’ business model truly helps our agents be the CEO of their own business, and our company is constantly creating new tools and systems to assist each and every agent in our company in meeting and exceeding their real time needs.”
At Family Reunion, company leadership was on hand to give agents valuable insight into the market, as Vice Chairman Mo Anderson and CEO Mark Willis gave the State of the Company address, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board Gary Keller addressed the current real estate market in his annual Vision Speech. In addition, President of KW Worldwide Chris Heller discussed the direction of the company and the efforts for expansion into Europe and Asia in 2011 and beyond. President and COO Mary Tennant was at Family Reunion to meet with the International Agent Leadership Council (IALC) where Keller Williams Realty associates voted on important policies affecting the company.
This year’s Family Reunion keynote speaker was Stefan Swanepoel, author of “Surviving Your Serengeti.” Family Reunion concluded on Wednesday with Mo Anderson’s 12th Annual Inspirational Brunch. Led by Anderson, who is largely credited for building the Keller Williams Realty culture, the brunch program honored ”Unyielding Effort” within the Keller Williams Realty family.
