Summer is rapidly coming to an end, but there is still time to enjoy some of the fabulous activities that our area has to offer. If you still want to squeeze in some unique memories before the hot weather ends, here is a list of items to add to your to-do list.

Mind, Body & Sail Newport Beach Wellness Week is scheduled for Aug. 24-30. There are all sorts of fun things to do on the calendar that you can register for, including yoga classes, art walks, farmer’s markets, even a water obstacle course at Newport Dunes.

There are still a few summer concerts on the lineup at the Summer Concert Series at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. The concerts are each Friday night through Oct.12 and the doors open at 6 p.m. Check out the website for ticketing information.

Sunset Jazz at Newport Beach offers performances every Wednesday night through Sept. 19 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the website provides ticket details.

Like outdoor summer movies? Fashion Island Hotel hosts the Dive-In Movie Series every Friday night through Aug. 31. Doors open at 7 p.m. and movies start at approximately 8 p.m. The cost is $10/per person for the general public.

The Pageant of the Masters continues to amaze pageant goers in Laguna Beach until Sept.1. The theme of the 2018 production is “Under the Sun” and celebrates artists who left their studios in search of greater inspiration.

The Festival of Arts will be open to dazzle art enthusiasts until Sept. 1. Visit to see all types of art including paintings, photos, jewelry, sculptures and so much more. There are even demonstrations, art workshops, live music and food available for purchase. Some notable events that are coming up include: Festival Runway Fashion on Sunday, Aug. 19, at noon; Concerts on the Green every Saturday until Sept. 1 at 1 p.m.; Tribute Tuesdays, which feature tribute bands each Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., and more.  Visit the website to see it all!

The 52nd Annual Sawdust Art Festival is open daily until Sept. 2. Stop by to see 200 local artists displaying their work. There are also three stages of live music and entertainment. Make sure to look at the calendar on their website to see some of the workshops that are available.

Laguna Art-A-Fair will wrap up on Sept. 2, so make sure you don’t miss out if this is on your list of must-do summer activities. Check out the art, live music, and art workshops that they offer before it’s too late for this season.

If you are looking for a free night of entertainment on the beach, check out Sunset Serenades at Heisler Park’s Rockpile Amphitheatre every Friday in September from 5:30 p.m. until sunset.

There’s certainly no shortage of summertime fun in our area. Your calendar will be full of excitement for the next few weeks if you want it to be!
